Respirator mask fit testing
Qualitative fit testing confirms your respirator seals properly to your face, as required by OSHA (29 CFR 1910.134) for workers who wear tight-fitting respirators such as N95 and half-face masks. Testing is done by appointment at 853 Atlantic Ave Ste 103, Long Beach CA 90813.
What it is
A taste-based (Bitrex or saccharin) test while you breathe, talk and move in your mask.

Before your test
- No eating, drinking (except water), smoking or gum for 15 minutes beforehand.
- Facial hair where the mask seals must be shaved — a beard prevents a valid fit.
- Bring your medical clearance if your employer requires one.
