Two-Piece Ostomy Skin Barrier

Two-piece ostomy skin barrier (wafer) that adheres to the skin and provides the flange onto which a matching pouch is attached. Skin-friendly hydrocolloid adhesive protects the peristomal skin while holding a secure seal. Details: cut-to-fit or pre-cut openings depending on the version — measure the stoma at each change and size the opening within about 1/8 inch of the stoma edge. Change on a routine schedule, typically every 3-4 days, or sooner if leakage, itching or burning occurs.
